On Having Patience....

Training is in full swing, as my volume is increasing for my upcoming races. I have two half marathons in the next month, and a half ironman triathlon at the end of March. It's easy to get impatient for speed now, as I am feeling good and strong. This is the time of year to build a base with a bit of speed work mixed in. I have done a lot of indoor training this month due to the rain and cold. All very good for mental toughness - thank goodness for my funky radio station called Bob FM (103.5). The old and new tunes are fun to jam to while I crank out the miles on the treadmill and my indoor cycling Computrainer! I am looking forward to spring when I can cycle, run, and swim more outside, but am thankful for the chance to do it inside for now. Happy New Year!!
