Ready to get back to work! The last two weeks I have had time off from training. My coach Siri told me to do almost nothing the first week (by Wednesday I was already going crazy), and just a little crosstraining this week. She said no swimming, biking, or running this week - I didn't follow that today. My husband Jude and I went to town lake and ran the 3 mile loop together at a slow pace. We haven't done that (just the two of us) in more that 5 years! It was so fun. I have also been taking some time to write and edit articles for a fitness newsletter and a business magazine. I would love to share my insights in to being a Mom and triathlete at a much larger scale! Hopefully I will get to. I look forward to starting training again next week - it will be easy for a few weeks before hard training begins again. Another year of adventure is right around the corner! |
