Solid Race in Ohio.... This past Sunday I had a race in Ohio. I was attempting to qualify for the 2008 World Championship in Vancouver. I was second overall. Only the top spot automatically qualified, but if the first place finisher doesn't take the spot, I would be happy to. I am very happy with my race overall, however. Mentally I was positive, focused, and stayed in the moment. I had a solid swim, a great bike on a flat course, and my run was slow, but I kept going strong. I need to work on my speed, as we leave for Germany in about two week, but I feel my health is good now. I will just do my best to get ready for my second Team USA experience! |
