HOT, fun day in Austin .. It was my kids' last day of school today. Party, celebrate, cry, more parties. After my two hour bike/run workout at the Austin YMCA (thanks to Evalyn for a great spinning class!) I showered and ate, then went to pick up my kids at school. Aliya's 1st Grade teacher is moving to Oklahoma, so she was very sad! I took Asha and Aliya to a cool party with a HUGE slip n slide. I am glad, it was at least 95 degrees out! Shanti and David went to our friend Barbara's house after school - another slip and slide! We all ended up there and stayed until about 8. Very thankful for our wonderful teachers, good friends, and water games. Yippeee! It's summer!! |
